Since 2023, Dermatology Partners has served southeastern Minnesota from our Rochester clinic as the region's premier independent dermatology practice. In January 2027, we're bringing that same standard of care to Owatonna, in a brand-new building designed from the ground up for dermatology, including a fully equipped on-site Mohs surgery suite.

Led by Dr. Kevin Christensen, a Harvard- and Mayo Clinic-trained, board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with more than 15,000 Mohs cases performed, our Owatonna team will offer the concierge-level experience our Rochester patients know: short wait times, direct communication with your care team, and transparent pricing.

Care We'll Offer in Owatonna

Medical dermatology: comprehensive skin exams and skin cancer screenings, acne and Accutane management, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, warts, and hair and nail disorders. Surgical dermatology: Mohs micrographic surgery performed on-site, skin cancer excisions, cyst and lipoma removal, and cryotherapy. Cosmetic dermatology: Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, and cosmetic mole and skin tag removal. No more driving to Rochester or the Twin Cities for fellowship-trained skin cancer surgery: it will be right here in Steele County.

We broke ground at 140 Landmark Drive NE in the summer of 2026, and construction is underway with completion planned for the end of the year. It was a family affair, and we couldn't be more excited to become part of the Owatonna community.
